2/ In too many cases: they have failed to right historic wrongs; have perpetuated economic priorities dripping with injustice & passive cruelty; and have failed to demonstrate values and principles they then expected others, particularly our young, to uphold.

3/ What’s dying now is what needs to die, and what’s being born is a New America. It’s a difficult death and a difficult birth, but the new life that’s emerging will be a blessing on us all.
