We must be on the same wavelength because I was just about to tweet this: Members of Congress need to know what it’s like to worry about the rent. To watch a parent cry over bills. To have known war. To serve the people, one must remember what it is to be one of the people.
That’s why they should BE one of the people - and not just part of a political class or those who they choose to appoint as their puppets.
