I guess Marianne's Department of Peace would have been another imperialistic outlet for ignorance & hostility. When I run on sponsoring one, I'll credit Kucinich... https://twitter.com/marwilliamson/status/1274955087790649344 …

I'm not romanticizing. I'm advocating for diplomacy in a cruel world. When Obama dealt white phosphorous to the Saudis, did you call him a dictator? Did you demand foreign leaders repudiate him? You want George W. Bush making statements on TV but Trump can't meet with Maduro?

I certainly have never supported the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Jesse. Of course they’re dictators. Look at my post again. I said he “has a thing for dictators,” which clearly he does. You’re turning it into a commentary about US foreign policy that I didn’t even make.

But by all means credit Kucinich. So do I…

I agree with you Marianne. Trump is literally displaying reluctance in speaking for democracy, but rather to just try and work his “art of the deal” with a dictator. It’s his preference and your words are being twisted.

Exactly why this statement of yours is so disturbing. No one is defending Maduro. Who cares what Trump thinks? What matters is that we get our bloody claws off. We've destroyed enough lives already. Think what it means to be on the side of John Bolton...

for the record, i am here to defend maduro.
