Killing of Rayshard Brooks in Atlanta last night proves America’s system of policing is irrevocably broken. A 27-year-old falling asleep at a Wendy’s drive-through does not deserve death! And no, there is not even one excuse for it that should be tolerated by a civilized society.

If I as a black male and the cops came up to my car my first thought would be, I'm going to die! No one should have to live in that kind of fear.

Whenever I go driving im pretty much constantly rehearsing what to say and do if I get pulled over so if don't get killed and it's such a terrible mental tax

People who understand their mistakes and own up to them rarely find themselves in situations like running from an officer with their taser. Did he deserve death? Of course not. Did he increase his chances of harm when he made a fear-based choice, yes. Chose love... chose life.

Now that was an intelligent response. Wish others could think with intelligence and not emotion.

Police presence alone, a cop car driving by, puts black men on heightened alert. Enough w/ white people likening their experiences to our experiences, as if we don’t know our own experiences, as if America wasn’t forged in racism & brutality, as if they’re devoid of empathy.
