I understand the sentiment but this is a bad idea. Millions of legitimate business people make their living in whole or in part through advertising on Facebook.
I hear that. Mark Zuckerberg knows how he could stop allowing Facebook to be used for totally nefarious purposes. He could do it if he wanted to.

Yes, pressuring him to spend some of the zillions on ensuring his product is not harming the public is a better way. Poor people w/ out phone service use FB Messenger to not be cut off from family & friends.

I know that we can choose to use social media for our own purposes. Unlike with cable news, we all have a voice here, not just the elite and the famous.
