1/ We’ve always read about pro-democracy movements in different parts of the world - and the place that really needs one now is the United States of America. People are infuriated by what happened yesterday in GA and NV, and that’s just a taste of what we’re in for in November.
2/ The House passed HR 1 to fix a lot of the problems but the Senate blocked it. Efforts yesterday to restore the Voting Rights Act but McConnell blocked it. I can’t for the life of me figure out how the modern Republican Party justifies its efforts to make voting more difficult.

I know. And they don’t even pretend that’s not the issue. Trump even tweeted it yesterday, saying that’s why they should block vote by mail. It is absolutely mind-boggling..
They don't want to justify. They don't care if what they do is wrong. That's because you value equality, civility, and the rule of law. They don't. They value $$, power, and domination. When the values are that disparate, chaos reigns.
Because that is how they win.
We need someone/s with a whole lot of money to target McConnell and senate and unseat them. Period. The people are unable to do it. Americans have been so manipulated and divided they can’t even discern their own moral stance anymore.
They can't justify it because it's not just. They know they are going to lose. It scares me to think of what they will do to hold onto power. You know?
