It's 2020, and the Ku Klux Klan is still not considered a terrorist organization. Someone please explain that one.

And every other white supremacist group along with them. After the KKK was bankrupted in litigation, a number of other malevolent, violent groups sprung up that deserve the designation.

The problem is that America has an almost pathological aversion to owning up to its own mistakes, past or present. Politicians play into that with a corporate “Don’t complain, don’t explain” attitude. KKK is bad guys, but they’re “our” bad guys so it’s like it’s OK or something.

The KKK was the paramilitary wing of the Democrat party. Declaring them a terrorist organization will cause some uncomfortable seat shuffling, especially for the Democrat presidential nominee https://www.c-span.org/video/?c4454847/vice-president-biden-eulogizes-senator-byrd …
