2/ We’re expressing power as citizens in reaction to injustices & authoritarianism that would never have occurred if we’d been more proactive earlier. That’s the lesson: to wake up and stay awake forever. Fundamental change will only happen if there’s a fundamental change in us.

Protesting as a reaction to one bad cop is tantamount to holding an entire race responsible for one bad person of that race. Do the protesters not see the flaw in their logic? They are flaunting and promoting prejudice. There’s no logic in identity politics.

If we were talking about just one bad cop, then none of this would be happening. There has been an established pattern of the execution of unarmed black man. This is not just about one cop, or ten.
