Absolutely. But we have to vote in the people who will change that. The House passed a good law to do it -HR 1 -but it won’t pass because Republicans are still in charge of the Senate. That’s the whole point. Vote as if your life depended on it; your democracy certainly does.

Two party system (and MSM) makes changing the face of Washington nearly impossible. We should work from bottom up, by changing the face of the city council, the district officials, the school board, etc.

That’s voting too. But voting progressives into Congress is hugely important as well. So many people being disengaged from the process is part of how things got so bad. http://Progressivecandidatesummit.com has some good suggestions
