He's been a cop for 23 years and I bet during his long career he's seen countless instances of his colleagues violating peoples rights, engaging in police brutality, and exhibiting racism and done nothing about it. Spare me.

I believe that you mean well, Marianne, but policing is a rotten institution to its core, built on the use of violence, and posting any examples of supposed "good cops" (who are taking zero concrete steps and only talking for a moment) only serves to discredit the point.
