The president just said Minneapolis has to be “tougher.” He said the police have to be “respected” by all these “protesters, who are radical left, very bad people.” Fortunately the mayor of Minneapolis and the governor of Minnesota are speaking truth.

I'm a 56 yr old Black male born and raised in Minneapolis. The racial economic disparity is awful in the Twin Cities. If ALL were treated w/dignty and respect and truly given an equal chance to succeed we may not have reached this boiling point.
I hear you. Please tell me what you would like to see happen now specifically? As someone who lives there and knows the problem viscerally, your words mean a lot. Thanks for sharing.

1) Police force needs to be reformed. Arrest the other 3 too. 2) Massive economic support for minority business & govt contracts 3) Large Corporations support education initiatives 4) Free therapy sessions by trained professionals

We need tpsychologists &sociologists to do intense testing before letting just anyone become a cop. It’s possible to test for racial bias, empathy etc. Before they are cops they need to sit on panels, do community service. I want to make it hard to carry a badge.
