They charged him with third degree which means they are calling it an accident the other 3 are still free - this is protective custody to protect the murderer - this is not justice! #NoJusticeNoPeace #DefundThePolice
Derek Chauvin is now in custody. The long journey to justice is beginning to unfold. I was impressed by speeches made by the Mayor of Minneapolis and the Governor of Minnesota. Important to acknowledge all those who are trying to do the right thing. Kudos to those who are.

This isn’t enough to celebrate. There hasn’t been “justice” in a single one of these racist cop murder cases. We need to be real and not get our hopes up for anything. Now 3rd degree charges? It was cold-blooded MURDER. We’ve seen this movie before + we know how it ends.
