1/ For years many of us said, “We’ve got to change this guys, or the country is going to blow. People will only take oppression for so long.”Unheeded, the warning went unheard. We’re past containment now; things have blown up, as anyone really looking would have predicted.
2/ As with any crisis it’s never just about one thing. This isn’t just about George Floyd. It’s also about thousands of others who preceded him, who got no justice and received no mercy. America needs to fall to its knees now, to apologize, to pay reparations, to commit to change
3/ And no Mr. President those who protest are not thugs. To protest is their Constitutional right. They’re doing all that has been left for them to do. It is America that has failed them & not the other way around. Should they be peaceful? YES! And so should you be. So should you

If it took one more black killing to ignite an uprising then so be it.
Let's not forget that for decades black people & minorities have had their civil rights stripped.
That we now have over 40 million unemployed.
That the pandemic affects these people the most.

I hope you’re right. I hope this system collapses into total destruction so we can start over with something that works in harmony with the earth and honors human needs and dignity.
