4/ Every generation, including ours, has contained both elements, and every generation has made its choice. Slave owners v. Abolitionists, male surpramists v. Suffragettes, segregationists v. civil rights movement. It's simply our turn. The aristocratic archetype has returned.
5/ It's important to remember we're not up against anything worse than other generations had to deal with. The point is that they did it. They pushed back on oppression and injustice and so can we. Let's not be the first generation of Americans to wimp out on doing that job.
Let’s protest and hit the streets?
That's a hard one now, not just because of Covid but because the establishment doesn't really care anymore if we do. Look at what Greta accomplished: millions in the streets. What we have to hit is the ballot box, and even that has become very hard. But we can do it. And we must.
In Germany they teach all children about the holocaust so they will know the atrocities and never let it happen again - the schools in the United States should be teaching about the atrocities committed by the United States here and all over the world

I'm pushing back against the bankruptcy of our nation, along with endless wars and censorship. I just wish there was a political party that stood for thos principles.

Great articulation of this important message! There is no doubt that we are standing at a moment of immense historical significance. It is up to us to perfect our imperfect union. And some day, many years from now, our grandchildren with face a similar challenge. It goes on.
