I think the concern is that it vastly enables fraud, not that it causes it.
Just in case anyone needs to be reminded: voting by mail does not cause voter fraud; it causes voting. That’s why its opponents oppose it.

Anyo e who opposes mail in voting and ranked choice voting are just afraid they would lose if more people voted, and we freer to vote for who they really wanted.
