We need to hold our leaders to account, even those we love the most. I was a huge proponent of Marianne on the debate stage. She rules. When she says stuff like this, it sends the wrong message and doesn't help the cause.

There's no such thing as a righteous billionaire, Marianne. You have to exploit labor to make that much money somewhere down the line. It's just not possible otherwise.

Yes. The defense of “righteous profits” is definitely a wrong message. It directly hides where wealth actually comes from and is fundamentally dishonest.
