Marianne respectfully yes the church is the people that's why it's important to get in-person services going again. The community is strangled trying to do it online. The connection is lost. Same thing with AA meetings. It can be done safely with masks and social distancing.

It's not the same thing. Like going to an AA meeting. This has been devastating to alcoholics/addicts b/c what had been their bedrock 2 months ago was all taken out. There is a cost to the lockdowns. There is loss of life & we might very well lose more from them than the virus.

The churches can be safely opened if they require congregants to wear masks & to social distance. They have seating spaced out & place sanitizing stations at appropriate spots. Going online isn't acceptable. Church is a community oriented activity that needs to be done in person.
