People want to connect again. The church is a great place for this. all of your celebrity cheerleaders talking through the TV about being separately together and companies ushering in a “new normal” in their ads don’t cut it. Time to offer the “sign of peace”. Shake hands.
"The church" is more than a building, and people truly connecting takes more than physical proximity. Connection through God means loving one another. And nothing shows greater love than protecting each other during a time of serious contagion.

I understand the people make the church. However for some faiths the temple or the church is sacred ground and they want to be there to worship with others. There will never be a point when we are at zero cases. If churches can open responsibly, they should.
