I’m optimistic about nothing. Give me something to be optimistic about. Anything.

The efficacy of both those revolutions can be debated

There's plenty of historical evidence that non-violent revolution works more often than violence. We need not take any options off the table though. Any hint of fear-based, in-box, thinking will be pushed back on right now. That isn't planned. It's just the situation we're in.

Excuse me but it’s not the oppressed that will be violent. It will be the state and fascist that will be violently attacking us once we stand up against this capitalist exploitation. We will defend ourselves and yes it will be violent. No way around this.

The most successful revolution of the 29th century was the Communist Revolution. And that shit wasn't peaceful.

Lots of human sacrifice was made to state and mob violence. People have a right to defend themselves.

I loved Gandhi or Dr King's movement, but they weren't revolution. They were concessions. You think black ppl are able to vote is revoln? Now millions indians sleep hungry, revoln? As long as it doesn't solve class and colonialism issue, it's not revoln. Any means necessary

Gandhi didn’t free India, and MLK was an anti-capitalist who died before the fight could be finished. Almost every socialist that had come to power democratically has been assassinated or removed by force. So no, it’s going to be violent.
