      1/ It’s not just pandemics that we were risking. Same with nuclear & environmental issues as well. When I was young we marched to “Ban in the bomb.”Today we’ve all just accepted a horrifying reality & do little more than cross our fingers hoping something terrible doesn’t happen.

      2/ Environmentally, if we don’t do something radical within seven years we could have massive social collapse beyond anything we’ve ever seen. Whole swaths of continents too hot to grow food. Economic collapse. Food system collapse. Hundreds of millions of environmental refugees.

      3/ The planet itself has become a ticking time bomb, and when this pandemic eases each and every one of us needs to become passionately involved in creating a different world. The opportunities will be there, we just need to become people ready & prepared to rise to the occasion.

          Exactly. The planet's just a mass of feedback loops. We know that our choices instigate changes which WILL soon make the earth unlivable for our children and grandchildren. If we're too selfish or ignorant or arrogant to heed such a basic lesson, that's entirely on us.
