In my humble opinion the 2 party system has failed. There has to be a better way. If we were to choose people to represent us from something like the jury list. People are selected, spend 2 yrs in Washington or state capitol, then go home. No special pay, no retirement special.

One reason we're in the predicament that we're in because of comments like, "Marianne..., leave the policy to anyone who understands it." Candidates kowtow in exchange for big dollar donations to fund campaigns. And when they don't have money they don't get on the ballot.

Is it time to begin conversations on what our culture could look like without dependence on money? Is that a way of thinking too far outside the box? Just ponder sometimes...does our whole planetary construct need an overhaul? Big picture stuff, I dunno.

I think this is the winning concept, but how? That seems to be the hang up that could take many years to determine and most likely decades more to implement. Big picture is how we solve this
