I might be an odd source for this opinion, but @cubanthuglfe702 might be right.
The American ideal is that nobody gets to “take over,” and that everyone has equal opportunity. Obviously we’ve never fully actualized that ideal but it’s the purpose of every generation to try to get there. Sometimes, like now, it’s 2 steps backwards. But we have to keep trying.
Bakunin said that political planning based on the ideal led to disaster and that we could only reach our ideal based on acceptance of reality. The reality of America is that it is an oligarchy ruled by corporate landlords and robber barons.
