Stereotypes are dangerous. Every group has a shadow side, but identifying an entire group by their shadow is where the greatest evil comes from. The fact that it starts out as a “joke” just makes it even more dangerous. Trump does that. We shouldn’t. Just my opinion…
Actually, racist/toxic behavior IS a universal shadow side. And I do not believe “white women” should be lumped together in a group and blamed for anything. Do I feel this particularly strongly because I’m a white woman? Of course I do. But there are jerks & saints in every group
I agree with what you’re saying completely. Consequences are vastly different. And that’s wrong. However, framing the argument within the stereotype of a ‘Karen’ is what’s questionable. Can we have the discussion without ANY pejorative labels?

The unfortunate reality is that white privilege makes every white person a participant in oppression, even if we don’t intend to be. While not all white women are Karens, all white women have privileges that POC don’t have.
