$2k/mo while this lasts isn’t only what people need right now; it’s what people will vote for! Kinda-sorta-better-than him is not enough to defeat him. When things are dramatically horrible, have the guts to counter with something dramatically wonderful.

I think we have some very deep collective shadow work to do. The government won’t or can’t. Maybe it’s up to us to really go into that darkness, face our nations sins, and make a meaningful commitment to do differently?
Yes, but then to turn that into political force - electing people who use the levers of power to change what needs to be changed.

Nice sentiment, but anytime we try to elect someone who actually represents the working class, the establishment knocks them out of the race, and they don't even get fair representation. I would have gladly voted for you, but you were never given a fair shake in our system.
