Exactly. Neither has any reason to change. Food industry externalizes its cost to Medical, Medical to insurance or Uncle Sam, and either of them to workers via taxes and/or lower wages.

Capitalism only cares about profit. If people getting sick does not effect the profit margin, then so be it. If sickcare makes more profit then going to be sickcare. Until the profit dynamic is taken from institutions of Public Good then it will only continue to get worse.
