So you also believe anyone who signs a car loan “agreement” or a house loan “agreement” or an “agreement” for house appliances or furniture — everything should be FORGIVEN forever because people all of a sudden decide it’s not fair to pay back what they agreed upon?!?!
No. People didn’t “all of a sudden decide.” As a society we’ve come to understand what a huge mistake we made making it so hard for people to get educated, and we want to right the error.

So you don’t cancel past agreements, you make changes FOR THE FUTURE- or do you plan to return everyone’s money who DID sweat and work two or three jobs to pay theirs back. NO, you look to make the changes moving forward.

That’s like saying that we shouldn’t legalize marijuana because it’s unfair to all the people who have already served time for it. History is supposed to move forward, not stay stuck in a wrong-minded past.
