If direct relief for millions of Americans is not financially viable without bankrupting the country, would you support relief to businesses that employ them, accompanied by strings to ensure direct relief via jobs?
It would have been totally viable at the beginning had we not given it to the corporations instead, many of whom did not need it and are not using it to support workers. The strings are technically there but are basically unenforceable. This has been a bailout for the rich only.

What about if that money went to support small businesses when they try to reopen? It can cost tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars to restablish lines of credit, hire and pay workers, and purchase equipment and supplies. Enforceable strings to accompany that money.
