Any incident that ends in a death is tragic and I hope both families get the justice they deserve but to keep up with this “he was just out jogging” narrative is just as disingenuous as the bogus “hands up, don’t shoot” lie the media pushed for years. Enough. #AhmaudArbery

It is sad it got to that point. He should've not died or deserved to die. But HE WAS NOT SHOT WHILE JOGGING or because he was trespassing.

No, you do not get to pull a gun on someone like that. A citizen’s arrest isn’t justification for shooting someone. And trespassing isn’t punishable by death! How could he not have tried to defend himself? If two people came at you with a gun would you not try to defend yourself?

The video shows him getting shot while fighting...NOT WHILE JOGGING OR TRESPASSING. It should never have happened! But....let's get the facts right.

Honestly, these "facts" are like splitting hairs. He was fighting for his life after being confronted by men with guns. Any reasonable person in that situation would assume they intended to cause harm. Ahmaud was unarmed. So yes, he fought to defend himself.
