No, that's not how the world works. We work, therefore we survive. If our society stops working, we will eventually die.
OR we create a world and system that serves us, instead of us serving IT! Our society stopped working a long time ago, when businesses began to see people as cheap labor rather than the key to their success!
What about essential workers. They just have to keep working to make sure those sitting at home getting paid for nothing can still eat? How long does that last, until we find a vaccine?
Essential workers get the boost too. I’m sure they will be happy to not be over run.
