We know who he is, so much so we don’t really need to keep talking about it. The real question is who are we? Are we a generation of adults committed enough to do everything necessary to defeat him - and his political phenomenon - at the polls in Nov & then restore our democracy?

Can you be more specific? Because I remember Carter. He was OK. He was appointed by the machine, but he wasn't a favorite and at least back then the Dems were taking their payoffs from Unions instead of Corporations so they at least indirectly served workers. Was it before that?
No, Carter was not appointed by the machine. I’m the first person to recognize how corrupt our system can be & I have my own scars to prove it. But it’s wrong to say we’ve never done anything right, because we have. And that’s why it’s all worth fighting for.
