Regarding the “she told men not to take their medicine” BS. At that time there WAS no medicine. If someone got the virus, it was almost a certain death sentence. What I did was to say that we would love each other through this. Much like now. And we did. (& I received no profit).
I am 1) astonished that you noticed this, and 2) happy to be wrong about this genuinely frightening thing. The world is a slightly better place than I believed it was two hours ago, so thanks for providing me with that optimism.
