1) $738B defense authorization this year. 2) 2017 $2T tax cut w/ $.83 of every $ going to the richest corporations & people. 3) $500B Covid bailout already to the same corporations who got the money in 1 and 2. Ready for the political revolution yet?

The big question imo is - revolt how? The peaceful revolution of trying to reform existing institutions from within has failed. Combative revolutions usually end up badly. We need a new strategy.
Given how few have voted, we can’t really say the peaceful political revolution has failed. We haven’t really waged it yet.

So as not to be their patsies! When I said things inconvenient to that establishment, they vilified me w/ ridiculous caricature. Perfect strategy: make someone serious appear silly. But people absolutely ate it up. You’re hardly fighting the system if you dupe that easily.

Bernie Sanders, the forerunner of this concept, branded his vision of reforming the existing power structure peacefully as "Our Revolution". His vision aligns well with how I interpret "peaceful revolution".

I don't see it that way, but the discussion should stay active. I've been known to be wrong sometimes. Attempts to energize a peaceful revolution in 2016 & 2020 seem to me to have been thoroughly squelched by our entrenched leadership. I hope to find I've become too cynical.
