The answer is not to reopen the economy; it's to freeze the economy. The government should provide everyone with the economic wherewithal to survive this period without leaving home. It's criminal to make people have to choose between their livelihood and their health.

Not really an answer to the question. How are goods that aren’t essential now that will be in two years going to be available if people aren’t working? Why don’t we talk about figuring out how to open things back up intelligently and safely?

Computer stores, manufacturing for construction materials, lots of places that aren’t immediate essential needs will be within six months. Production needs to happen whether or not money circulation is happening.
