Americans have been trained over the last few decades to expect so little from govt, propagandized to believe govt actually helping them is a bad thing. It’s a tragic surrender to corporate control & a betrayal of the ideal of govt “of the people, by the people & for the people.”

Seems like many of our elected representatives have forgotten about “of the people, by the people & for the people.” Especially those that live in a career bubble.
Too many of them those are just words. In practice, it’s become “of a few of the people, by a few of the people, and for a few of the people.”

Exactly. If the people want real change we cannot keep electing the same politicians into office year after year and seeing no change. Even if Biden is elected the chance for any positive change is nil. It is a shame, as there were better candidates.
