Seems like many of our elected representatives have forgotten about “of the people, by the people & for the people.” Especially those that live in a career bubble.
-
Too many of them those are just words. In practice, it’s become “of a few of the people, by a few of the people, and for a few of the people.”

The Federal government overreach creates more problems then it ever helps. Less is more. Local government are better suited to help citizens. One size fits all approach, is ineffective.
-
Local and state governments do not have anywhere near the resources of the federal government, and those larger resources are desperately needed during a time of crisis.

I don't think anyone is saying government help in times of crisis is a bad thing. There is, however, considerable debate over what constitutes "help".
-
Not right now there isn’t! This isn’t theory we’re talking here now, this is people’s’ lives. Ventilators. PPE. Medicine. Real financial bailout for the average citizen, not just for huge companies.
