For me Marianne’s posts are a LITERAL life saver because I cannot be with my beloved 86 year old Mom while she’s slowly slipping away which is HELL! I want to & feel like I’m dying with her & no words exist to emotionally express the gulf of helpless darkness I exist in.
I’m very sorry what you’re going through; the loss of our parents can be so difficult. I remember saying the day after my mother’s death that I didn’t know someone could feel this sad. But I can also tell you that the day comes when it’s clear they’re with us forever. 
The sadness penetrates your entire being. If you can take that sadness and loss right now and realize this is a transition not only for your mother from this life to the next but that you and all of us are transitioning now into something new and abundant. Faith, Love, Hope!

I cannot thank-you enough Marianne for your empathy & encouragement! Although I know I’m just one of innumerable people who can’t be with their loved ones while they pass not being with my Mom right now feels unbearable! We’re being forced to do what’s unnatural.
