The greatest hope for world peace is that we begin to infuse early childhood with attitudes of infinite compassion. As we do that, the brain synapses of future generations will expand and humanity will evolve to meet the challenge of survival in the 21st century.

War is worth $Trillions business. Talk about the money.

There’s actually more money to be made from investment in education and infrastructure then there is to be made from investment in war. A shift from a war economy to a peace economy would expand, not limit our economy.

True. Except the war economy benefits the 1% and is mostly paid for by the 99%, who also do ALL the dying. Hence war.

As corrupt as the situation is, if more of the 99% voted we wouldn’t be where we are.

I think media is the biggest hurdle for that; if corporate media didn't set the agenda, the talking points about that agenda and who's the serious candidate (due to how much $ they fundraised) vs the "fringe" candidates, the 99% would be more informed and more motivated to vote.
