Some people seem to think that were we to help people thrive, it would destroy the economy. THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE. Helping all people thrive is the key to creating the most abundant economy possible. We need an economic paradigm shift.
It’s more than just that. It’s also universal healthcare. Higher education for everyone. Removal of college loan debt. Repeal of corporate subsidies. Fair and reasonable corporate taxation. THAT is economic stimulus.

I do however think that UBI is an idea both sides of the aisle can get behind more quickly. Of course there are other ways of helping people recover, but sometimes we need to pick our battles. We need to start a foundation of economic recovery from the people, not big businesses.
