Some people seem to think that were we to help people thrive, it would destroy the economy. THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE. Helping all people thrive is the key to creating the most abundant economy possible. We need an economic paradigm shift.

It’s more than just that. It’s also universal healthcare. Higher education for everyone. Removal of college loan debt. Repeal of corporate subsidies. Fair and reasonable corporate taxation. THAT is economic stimulus.

Are they afraid that if others thrive they will lose something? Their power? Are they so high on themselves that they can’t bear the idea of us “lowly” regular people being on a more level playing field? Or do they just get off on watching people suffer and struggle?
