1/ We have allowed too much horror to be normalized. I know we can’t stay in a constant state of outrage, nor should we. I know it’s exhausting and easier to just throw up our hands at a certain point. To turn to humor like jokes about the disinfectant comment.

2/ But the unnecessary suffering of tens of millions of people who can’t pay the rent or buy food now is something none of us should shut up about. We must refuse to shut up. The crumbs being thrown to those not fortunate enough to already have cake to eat is outrageous.

What to do politically? Both Trump and Biden have essentially the same policies regarding wealth inequality. There is no political solution offered. Biden/Obama policies are how we got here.

Not true. Biden does not support the 2017 $2 trillion tax cut that gave $.83 of every dollar to the very richest among us.
