2/ What that translates into particularly at a moment like this is rampant fear. And fear can lead people to make terrible decisions. Those who tried to have it both ways, helping some people but not addressing fundamental injustices in our system, paved the way for where we are.

More people have been lifted out of poverty and “joined the club” under our system better than any system in history. Countries that adopted our system even partially, has done the same. The “Club” has of history of a range of people moving in and out of it

The government that is supposed to represent our unity has divided and conquered us. They have controlled the narrative through the media and have people blaming everyone but them for our despair. Love and compassion for each other is our best strategy. We must come together.
