Not everything is about the President. Think, for once, about how bad an employee complaining about being denied the means to protect themselves makes their employer look. The hospitals are protecting their reputations, and it goes no higher than that.
Absolutely might be true. Though I don’t think it makes the employers look bad in this case; it makes our supply chain look inadequate.

That's a fair point. I wouldn't put that on the government, though, because they had almost nothing to do with our economy's supply streamlining and its emphasis on producing products as needed to reduce storage costs.
