What I’m wondering is whether the White House is putting pressure on hospitals to get them to rein in their employees. To the Trump administration doctors and nurses complaining publicly would be seen as “leaks” that contradict their official story. Beware control of information!

Not everything is about the President. Think, for once, about how bad an employee complaining about being denied the means to protect themselves makes their employer look. The hospitals are protecting their reputations, and it goes no higher than that.

Absolutely might be true. Though I don’t think it makes the employers look bad in this case; it makes our supply chain look inadequate.
