Sadly, I don’t see any signs of a paradigm shift back to the “greater good”
You see the signs in progressive candidates who support those kinds of policies - and there are many. But if people don’t support those candidates then it simply doesn’t happen.

For a brief moment I thought that the pandemic shined a light so bright on America’s failures that it couldn’t be ignored by those currently in power. I so hoped that they would be moved to implement a course correction but that’s not happening. It’s hard not to lose faith.
