That’d freak out the avg citizen...having military parading into their towns, even if offering free food. Rural communities are armed, even if also starving. A better way is empowering local community leaders who’ve built trust to distribute free food that govt provides

Who would you suggest? Someone else on Twitter suggested food delivery services subsidized by the government. That could be good too theoretically.

I’d probably start by considering church members, mayors, and maybe rural hospital leaders.. Ha! Not wearing combat gear would be a great start

We need to go back to normal, then food wont be an issue. That's much easier. The vulnerable high risk need to be protected as always during flu seasons and viruses going around.
