No, if people were as sophisticated as me they would accept reality instead of wasting time talking to their imaginary friend. Prayer in a crisis is an admission of stupidity.
So all those people who are posting on Twitter all the time now, “Please pray for my grandmother”, “Please pray for my father” etc. - you think they’re all just stupid? That the problem is that they’re not as smart as you?

The universe is billions of times more complicated than the human mind can comprehend. A true sign of sophistication is an understanding of one's own ignorance. Faith & science aren't incongruous because no great thinker would ever assume a monopoly on knowledge.
