I respectfully disagree with you and Chomsky, Marianne. It's not about Arithmetic, it's also about Morals, and perhaps more importantly, Strategy. Voting for yet another Corp Dem will not only ensure a dormant Left but guarantee we won't succeed anytime in the near future.
I see it the opposite way. If Trump wins, I fear a suppression of all kinds of political activity. We should not underestimate what he would try to do with a second term.

Trump is only slightly constrained now because he still needs his base/voters. Imagine him in a second term with no one to answer to. Look at the chaos he’s already caused. Biden was not my first choice but the alternative is unthinkable for me.

Thanks for the response. I agree we shouldn't underestimate Trump, but we also have to keep calm and strategize. We cannot let our fear of him blind us to the fact that the DNC is using that same fear to suppress our mvmnt. 'Occupy' suppression happened under Obama, after all.

Voting for Biden and having him win will bring a sense of normalcy that is not there. Middle class people will sit back and say "enough activism for the rest of the decade" while Biden and Co. keep bombing countries, deporting millions and profiting off working class people.
