I've had this 'argument' with my mom so many times: she wants to assert that god exists but her definition of God is so vague that it can taken to mean anything, so it practically means nothing. I mean if it makes you feel better that's great, but I'd rather words have meaning.

It's a nice phrase. I personally would opt for something that can be defined in tangible terms. I mean no offense, but my journey has made me demand evidence before I believe something.

You can’t define the essence of God through physical or tangible properties. God cannot be observed through explanation but through revelation.
