He didn’t simply say he has absolute power. Now his name will be printed on every bailout check, and there are tens of millions of Americans who are literally going to think he personally sent it to them. Don’t kid yourself; they’ll want to vote for him in order to say thank you.

I think our greatest hope is by striking, boycotting the elections, demanding investigations of this administration and the DNC as part of our labor strike demands, and generally resisting compliance

Boycotting elections is exactly what they’d want you to do. They’ll be delighted that you’re not there. And “demanding investigations?” What do you think has been happening for the last three years?

Of course he doesn’t have the power to postpone it! That’s the point. He claims power he doesn’t have.

Aw don’t say it depends on republicans
they could care less what happens to us, unless humans were literally currency. Does ANYONE think Mitch McConnell would even consider giving constituents a smile let alone his courage? We’re doomed :(. Thanks for the optimism at least -
Many Americans, Republicans as well as Democrats, are deeply concerned about what’s going on now. We can’t cast aspersions on each other’s values. High minded conservative as well as high-minded liberal values matter. A true conservative is as appalled by his overreach as we are.

Our greatest hope is with each other. Not elected officials. We need a rent strike on mayday.

I hope you're right, but, never trust a Republican to do the right thing.
