Scientists have a voice in Washington, but they lack political power. They lack financial leverage - their advice doesn’t often increase short term corporate profits - and it’s money, not wisdom, that runs DC. Until we get the money out of politics, such insanity will prevail.

I think about this a lot. I do look at how europe and asia are they have strong woman leaders then i look here in America we have strong American woman the problem is giving the white to a woman is hard the aristocratic white man. The bureaucracy is the pride their throne
Also when we have bold leader like Bernie,more politicians should have courage to take his side and fight with him early & openly. Bernie endorsements are always careful,slow,measured ...we beat around the bush supporting other less toxic corporatists Warren, Castro, Yang ....
